Our London Junior Qualifier was held on Sunday 5th October at the Academy. We at least were in the warm and dry unlike the local dog club who were holding an open day.

The Under 8 section was won by Carl Breindel who was rarely challenged in achieving 6/6. Oliver Larsson also qualified for the U8 final in December.

The Under 10 section was won by David Redman who seems to enjoy his visits to us from up the A1 also achieving a perfect score. James Colebourn and Sebastian Larsson have also qualified for the U10 major final. William Forsythe, Martin Zucker and Joshua Silverbeck qualified for the U10 minor final.

The Under 12 section was a tense affair with William Claridge-Hansen and Lawrence Lee both finishing on 5/6. As only one of them could win the trophy they had a play-off. they both opted to stake it all on one game which was won by Lawrence. Peter Hodgson-Jones, Brian Hornsby and Vincent Lee qualified for the Under 12 minor final.

The Under 14 section was augmented with some adults to provide some more interest. Jake Breindel won the competition with 5.5/6 having decided to move up from the U12 section - a wise decision!
